What is the PBX Standard?
The PBX Standard is PurBlend Science’s proprietary quality control program built on the Comerg patented Aerosol extraction platform. Developed by our CTO and founder Mark Vuozzo, it is the process that ensures every PurBlend oil is strain-specific, full spectrum, and free from solvent residue or heat degradation. What does full spectrum mean?
Full spectrum means the extract contains the full range of cannabinoids, terpenes, and other plant compounds naturally present in the hemp plant — not just isolated CBD. Research suggests that these compounds work synergistically, producing what is known as the entourage effect, where the combined compounds are more effective than any single isolated compound.
What is CBG and why does it matter?
CBG (Cannabigerol) is known as the alpha cannabinoid — a precursor molecule that is an agonist for CBD, meaning it amplifies CBD’s effects. PurBlend products that include CBG offer a more complete cannabinoid profile than CBD-only formulas.
Are your products third-party tested?
Yes. All PurBlend Science products are third-party tested for cannabinoids, terpenes, volatile organic compounds (VOCs), heavy metals, bacteria, mycotoxins, and pesticides. Certificates of Analysis are available on each product page.
Will your products make me fail a drug test?
Most of our products contain trace amounts of THC (less than 0.3%) in compliance with the 2018 Farm Bill. Products containing THC are clearly labeled and include a drug test disclosure notice. If you are subject to drug testing, we recommend consulting with your employer or testing provider before use.
What is the difference between your tinctures?
Our tinctures vary in cannabinoid content, CBG ratio, and whether they are strain-specific. The Peach (9:1 CBD:CBG) is our baseline full spectrum oil. The Tangerine Extra Strength (3:1 CBD:CBG) has three times more CBG. The Daytime (Lifter/Sativa) and Nighttime (Abacus/Indica) are strain-specific — made from specific hemp strains to preserve their unique terpene profiles and effects. The Natural 1000mg is available in multiple flavors without added CBG.

Are your products legal?
Yes. All PurBlend Science products comply with the 2018 Farm Bill, which legalized hemp-derived CBD products containing less than 0.3% Delta-9 THC. Our products are manufactured in a licensed facility and hemp is grown in accordance with state regulations.
Who should not use CBD products?
CBD products are not recommended for pregnant or nursing women, individuals under the age of 21, or people taking prescription medications without first consulting a physician. Always consult your healthcare provider before starting any new supplement.
