This tincture delivers 33mg of CBD per dose in true MCT oil (medium chain triglycerides, C8 and C10 chains specifically) — chosen because shorter-chain fats are absorbed more efficiently than longer-chain oils, a well-established principle in lipid chemistry.
THC follows a real, counterintuitive pattern: more doesn’t mean stronger. This is called a biphasic dose-response — a well-documented pharmacological effect where THC’s benefit rises with dose only up to a point, then plateaus or reverses. That’s the opposite of how most people assume THC works, and it’s part of why true full spectrum extraction — which includes only trace THC — is a deliberate formulation choice, not a limitation.
The terpene profile includes myrcene, beta-caryophyllene, limonene, and humulene — each with documented analgesic and anti-inflammatory activity in a major, current pharmacology review covering the full landscape of cannabis-derived terpenes.
The Peppermint flavor carries its own real, separately-documented benefit. Peppermint’s active compound, menthol, has real clinical trial backing for digestive support — a well-established antispasmodic effect from blocking calcium channels in gut smooth muscle. The 2018 American College of Gastroenterology guidelines cite 7 randomized controlled trials supporting this effect, with a number-needed-to-treat of 4, on par with other digestive therapies. Menthol works in part through the TRPM8 receptor — the same “cold receptor” mechanism used topically in Sport Rub XL, here working internally instead.
