Turmeric’s active compound, curcumin, has real, current backing: a 2025 scoping review of 19 human clinical trials found curcumin improved wound healing versus placebo in 89% of studies. A separate trial found topical turmeric reduced psoriasis severity (PASI score) by 57% over 9 weeks, versus a 43% increase in the placebo group. Curcumin works by downregulating specific inflammatory mediators — 5-LOX, COX, TNF-α, IL-1, IL-6, and IL-8.

White Willow Bark has real, direct human trial evidence: a 12-week topical salicin trial found measurable improvement in wrinkles, texture, pore size, and radiance.

Rosehip oil has real, direct topical evidence: a 2025 pilot study tracked 27 volunteers applying rosehip oil daily for 5 weeks, using imaging technology to measure results — wrinkle depth, UV spot reduction, and texture all improved. A separate 108-patient study found that after 6 weeks of twice-daily use on post-surgical scars, 73% had no remaining redness at 12 weeks versus 50% untreated.

Rose flower water adds a light, traditional botanical scent and a gentle toning quality to the formula, and has long been valued in skincare for its soothing character.

Neem seed oil is a traditional skincare ingredient, valued for centuries for its rich, moisturizing quality and its long history of use in caring for troubled or irritated skin.

CBD contributes a documented antioxidant mechanism, supporting the skin’s own antioxidant response and reducing visible redness following UV exposure, through named pathways including Nrf2 and PPARγ.

This is also why this formula is designed for nighttime use specifically. Skin carries its own internal clock — real chronobiology, not a marketing concept.
