Description

ReLiever is one of the most amazing products ever developed at PurBlend Science. We’ve coupled oil and water-soluble cannabinoids suspended in an emulsion of Jojoba, Coconut, and Aloe — providing true relief for everyday skin and muscle discomfort.

Here’s why the carrier oils matter as much as the cannabinoids: Jojoba oil isn’t really an “oil” at all — it’s a liquid wax, nearly identical in structure to what your own skin already produces. That’s what lets it slip past the surface instead of just sitting on top. In one 2023 clinical study, jojoba even boosted another ingredient’s penetration through the skin’s barrier by 40-fold. Coconut oil works a different way — its fatty acids are small enough to slide directly into your skin’s own lipid structure, and published research confirms that fatty acids this size measurably increase how much of a product actually gets in, compared to bigger, slower fats. Between the water-soluble tech, the jojoba, and the coconut oil, this formula has three separate, real ways of getting where it needs to go — not just one trick doing all the work.

One of the keys to unlocking the medicinal properties of cannabis is how the body absorbs it — what’s called “bioavailability.” Water-based cannabinoid formulas are absorbed quickly, delivering nearly all their cannabinoids. Oil-based formulas absorb more slowly and less efficiently, often needing roughly four times more cannabinoids to do the same job, based on published pharmacokinetic research. That’s why ReLiever uses both: the water-soluble side hits fast, the oil-based side keeps working longer — Fast Acting, Long Lasting.

The THC in this formula is nanoemulsified too, right alongside the CBD — not just along for the ride as part of full-spectrum content. Real human skin cell research comparing the two found CBD at high concentrations slowed skin cell migration (part of the healing process) more than THC did, and put cells into a more stressed state that THC didn’t cause — while both reduced inflammatory signaling. Delivering the THC the same water-soluble way is designed to get the benefit of that gentler profile.

Friendly Ingredients: Organic Jojoba Seed Oil, Organic Coconut Oil, Organic Aloe Leaf Juice, Non-GMO Vitamin E Oil, Organic Neem Oil, Grapefruit Extract, PBX Standard Full Spectrum Hemp Resin, Water-Soluble Nanoemulsified Hemp Extract (Cannabidiol + THC).

All our products are third party tested for Cannabinoids, Terpenes, Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC’s), Heavy Metals, Bacteria, Mycotoxins and Presence of Pesticides.

Built on a delivery system backed by real human pharmacokinetic data — and it doesn’t stop at the water-soluble tech.

ReLiever combines water-soluble and oil-based cannabinoids (634mg total) specifically because of how differently they behave once applied.

Water-soluble CBD has been shown in a real human study to reach the bloodstream faster and in roughly 4x greater concentration than oil-based CBD — with faster time-to-peak as well. Separately, an animal study tested CBD formulated specifically as an oil-in-water emulsion — the same approach used here — for rheumatoid arthritis, targeting absorption through the lymphatic system.

The carrier oils aren’t incidental — they’re formulated to reinforce that same absorption goal, through two separate, real mechanisms. Jojoba oil is technically a liquid wax ester, not a triglyceride oil, structurally similar to human sebum — this is why it helps compounds move through skin rather than sit on the surface. A 2023 clinical study using a Skin-PAMPA assay found jojoba oil boosted retinol’s penetration through the skin’s lipid barrier by a measured 40-fold — direct evidence of its role as an active penetration enhancer, not just a moisturizer. Coconut oil works through a different, equally real mechanism: its medium-chain fatty acids, particularly lauric acid, are small enough to integrate directly into the skin’s own lipid matrix. Real published penetration studies confirm that fatty acids in this specific size range measurably increase how much of a compound moves through skin, compared to longer-chain fatty acids. Between the nanoemulsion, the jojoba, and the coconut oil, this formula has three separate, real mechanisms working toward the same goal — not one technology carrying the whole story.

The THC in this formula is specifically nanoemulsified — part of the water-soluble delivery system, not just incidental full-spectrum content. This distinction matters: real human skin cell research directly comparing THC to CBD found that high concentrations of CBD delayed skin cell migration (the process behind wound healing) significantly more than high concentrations of THC did, and CBD alone shifted cells into a more metabolically stressed state while THC did not alter skin cell metabolism at all. Both cannabinoids reduced inflammatory cytokine signaling. Delivering the THC in nanoemulsified, water-soluble form is designed to make the most of this gentler profile at the low concentrations used here.

CBD and THC also engage the same receptor family from separate binding sites in a way that measurably stabilizes receptor structure when both are present together, compared to either alone.

Purblend’s ReLiever and Arti-Rub work better for me than anything else I’ve tried.
I’m 65 and have chronic lower back pain from old injuries, slight displacement of all five lumbar vertebrae, and arthritis in my lower back and a few other places. The pain is always there to some degree, and sometimes it’s severe enough to leave me bedridden after even modest exertion. Traditional treatments and products have provided very little relief over the years.
With ReLiever (and Arti-Rub as well), my pain decreases dramatically within about an hour of application. Before using these products, I was always aware of the pain—sometimes just a dull ache, other times sharp pain when bending, squatting, getting up from a chair, climbing stairs, or even walking. Since I started using them five days ago, I’ve had long stretches where I suddenly realize I haven’t thought about my back at all. No pain. For someone who’s lived with constant pain for years, that’s a pretty remarkable feeling.
Everyone responds differently, but I was honestly surprised by how effective these products have been. After decades of trying things that didn’t help much, and hearing over and over that chronic pain is just something you learn to live with, I’d become pretty cynical. It actually took me several days to accept that the relief was real and not just wishful thinking.
I still find myself processing that. Part of me is incredibly grateful to have found something that helps, and part of me can’t help wondering why I spent so many years believing there simply weren’t effective options available. Maybe that’s not entirely fair, but it’s an emotion that comes up when you’ve lived with pain for a long time and suddenly experience real relief.
Most importantly, though, I’m grateful. After years without a pain-free day, it’s wonderful to have something that makes such a noticeable difference.
Both Arti-Rub and ReLiever work similarly for me and begin working within about an hour. Arti-Rub is a solid gel stick, while ReLiever is a lotion. I prefer ReLiever because it absorbs quickly and isn’t oily. Arti-Rub leaves a temporary film that can transfer to clothing or furniture, though it doesn’t stain. Both products have a noticeable cannabis scent at first, but it fades over time. I hope this helps someone else. It took a lot to convince me, but in a market crowded with products that promise far more than they deliver, these have been genuinely worthwhile.

Last night I woke up with a very painful charley-horse in my calf. I jumped out of bed to relieve it. No change! I grabbed my Reliever lotion , rubbed it on and the pain was gone! I went back to sleep. This product lightly scented, smooth, silky lotion that rubs in quickly and works fast! The lotion never leaves a residue. I don’t want to be without it.
